FIRE RELIEF ASSISTANCE
Dear friends,
Our hearts are heavy with the devastation to our beloved city and the weight of so many unfathomable personal losses. We are sustained by a firm belief that as we emerge from the fog of catastrophe and grieving, we will have the opportunity to see and reimagine ourselves as a community with renewed clarity.
All l.a.Eyeworks staff members are safe and the Melrose Avenue mothership is open for regular business hours.
For those of you impacted directly by these tragic events, we are here for you and ready to offer the following assistance options. Knowing this will be a long-run recovery process, we will update this story as our relief efforts evolve.
COMPLIMENTARY REPLACEMENT GLASSES:
If you are a retail customer of l.a.Eyeworks and your glasses were damaged or destroyed in the fires, we will provide you with a replacement frame with prescription lenses at no charge.
COMPLIMENTARY "READERS":
Our friends at SCOJO New York have generously provided us with a selection of stylish reading glasses in various magnification powers. Please stop by the l.a.Eyeworks store on Melrose during regular business hours to pick up a compimentary pair for yourself, or perhaps for a neighbor or a friend who was impacted by the fires.
INSURANCE CLAIMS and MEDICAL RECORDS:
We are happy to assist you by supplyiing information about your eyewear purchases for insurance claims. Also, if you need a copy of your prescription on file at l.a.Eyeworks, please let us know.
PERHAPS YOU JUST NEED A TUNE-UP & A FRIENDLY SMILE:
If your glasses need a tune-up, please by to see us for compimentary frame adjustments and a fresh cleaning cloth.
